"Power Tools for Pastors"

Feel free to forward this to a friend!

A Word from Bill

Here's an expression I learned from my ministry coach: "If you plant in the Summer, you will reap in the Fall."

If you are a farmer, that may seem obvious, but sometimes we in the church forget that fact.

Some pastors don't use their summers as well as they might. Summertime is a great time to plan out your entire next year of messages.

I created my SermonBase Message Planning software because of a practice which I had each summer of taking two weeks to plan out my year's worth of messages. I would select major themes for the year, then find appropriate Biblical books or topics to address those themes, and then plan out the messages for each week. During that time period I would do some initial study on all the key subjects, and then develop the Series, all the Messages, including Title, Topic, Scripture for each week.

While I was doing this, I would jump back and forth between the sheets that listed all my Series and themes, and the sheets with all the Message ideas. It was kind of a mess! I thought to myself, "It sure would be nice if I had some software that would allow me to easily coordinate between my Series and Messages, so that I could easily jump between any and all of them as I come up with different ideas."

That is how SermonBase got started: by a preacher to help plan out his messages.

After using it for awhile, I realized that other pastors would also find this tool useful.

And they have. We have had pastors from all over the nation download and purchase this software for their ministry.

You can try a free 30-day trial of SermonBase this summer!

Feel free to use it to plan out your preaching calendar, with no risk, and no cost to you.

If it works for you, then you can purchase the unlock code. If not, no harm, no foul.

I think you will find it useful.

Thanks and God bless,
Dr. Bill
