Tab Controls:

The Flocks screen contains four additional tabs to oversee the development of every Flock: Current, Graduates, Stray Sheep, All Flocks.

The “Current” tab shows all Sheep in the currently selected Flock.
If more than 20 members are in the Flock, the list will provide a scroll bar to view all Flock members.

When the class has been completed and it is time to graduate or promote the members of the class, you must select each one by clicking on the selection box to the left of each person’s name. Everybody selected will be promoted. If someone has not completed the requirements for the class, do not select their name, and they will not be promoted. Their name will stay with the current Flock.

You may select all members in the Flock at once by clicking on the “Select” button at the upper left of the Flock list.

The “Graduates” tab provides a visual history of how many people have graduated from each of the Flocks.

The list does not include current class members.

A “Delete” button is provided on the right side of each Flock list. This will delete the listed class from the Shepherd database. This change is permanent, and you will receive a confirmation warning. You may skip this confirmation warning by holding down the Shift key as you delete.

The “Stray Sheep” tab shows you all persons in the Shepherd software who are not currently assigned to a Flock.

This list will include both Sheep and Shepherds who are not currently in a class.

Clicking on the name of each Stray Sheep will take you to their personal contact page.

Clicking on their email address, if they have one, will automatically generate an email addressed to them.

Clicking on the “Email Strays” embossed button at the top of the list will attempt to send an email to every person on the list, providing they have an email address listed.

The “All Flocks” tab will display a list of every Flock in the Shepherd database.

Clicking on each Class Name will take you to the detail page for that Flock.

Clicking on the Shepherd Name will display a menu of all person’s assigned the Shepherd role. You can use this screen to quickly make Flock assignments for each Shepherd.

Clicking on the Delete button will permanently remove the Flock from the database. You will be given a confirmation warning. If you wish to skip the confirmation warning, hold down the Shift key as you click Delete.
