Jesus is the Good Shepherd (John 10:11).
He calls pastors to be His faithful under-shepherds (1 Peter 5:2), keeping their eyes on the welfare of the flocks.

As your church grows, this becomes more difficult. This software is called “Shepherd” because it is designed to fulfill your calling to watch out for all the sheep that Christ has called you to protect and care for. By placing sheep with shepherds, you ensure that they all receive the loving care they need to grow spiritually. As a result of this, Christ will entrust you with more sheep whom He loves, and for whom He died.

My prayer for you and your church is that you will not lose one of them whom the Father has entrusted into your care.
