Purpose     Shepherding Metaphor    Navigation    Shift Key

The Shift Key:

In the Shepherd database tracking software, the Shift key is the “power” key, which will modify some of your selections and save you some time.

Delete Warnings & the Shift Key:

When deleting a record, you will be given a confirmation warning before the record is actually removed from the database. If you wish to skip that confirmation, just hold down the Shift key before clicking on the delete button, and you will skip the confirmation process.

The Nav Arrows & the Shift Key:

When navigating to another record, using the navigation arrows at the bottom right of the Sheep, Shepherd, and Flocks screens, you can quickly get to the first or the last record in the list by holding down the Shift key as you click on the arrow.
